NEET - PG Counselling 2025 is conducted online by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), DGHS, New Delhi for admission to PG Medical (MD / MS) courses offered by Deemed Universities.

All the Participating Candidates are hereby advised to read carefully the Information Bulletin, Counseling procedure, Institute information and Seat matrix posted on the official website of MCC i.e., mcc.nic.in and get registered for seeking admission to MD / MS courses in GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR), GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam.

  1. Reporting Procedure
    1. The candidates who have been allotted a seat in MD / MS through MCC PG Medical Counselling 2025 have been directed to complete the physical reporting formalities at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMSR), Visakhapatnam as per the reporting schedule displayed by MCC.
    2. The candidates should report along with original certificates / documents and demand draft / online transfer for payment of tuition fee.
    3. The reporting details of the candidate will be uploaded at MCC web portal by the GIMSR. The provisional admission letter will be generated from MCC and the same will be issued to the candidate signed by the Principal authority.

  4. Eligibility

    Candidates should satisfy the eligibility requirement as per the NEET PG (MD / MS) Information Bulletin - 2025 of MCC counseling and the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

  5. Admission formality

    For completing the reporting and admission formality at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR), Visakhapatnam, the candidate has to pay the first year prescribed fee in full amount to the GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Account.

  6. NRI / NRI Sponsored quota seat

    For foreign citizens including OCI, PIO, NRI and NRI sponsored candidates, the prescribed tuition fee must be paid in US Dollars ($) only from the sponsor account and for the same, candidate must produce proof of the transaction made from the sponsor account.

  7. Mode of Fee payment for Management / paid seats
    1. The fee can be paid through Demand draft drawn in the name of GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research payable at Visakhapatnam. ( OR )
    2. The fee payment can be made by transfer (RTGS/NEFT) to the following account and proof of remittance must be produced at the time of reporting for admission.

  8. Hostel Fee structure

    Hostel accommodation is available for both ladies and gents.

  9. Refund Policy

    The amount of fees to be deducted by GIMSR on re-allocation of seat to the candidates by MCC. Rs.50,000/-
    The Amount of fees to be reimbursed in case of candidate resigns after counseling period. No refund of fee

  10. List of original certificates / documents for general and NRI category candidates

    The following original certificates / documents are to be submitted at the time of reporting to the GIMSR along with 2 sets of photo copies of the same and 4 recent passport size photographs.

    • MCC allotment letter
    • NEET PG 2025 Admit card issued by NBE
    • NEET PG 2025 Result / Rank letter issued by NBE
    • Marks sheets and consolidated marks card of MBBS
    • MBBS Degree certificate
    • Internship completion certificate
    • Permanent MBBS Registration Certificate from any State Medical Council / MCI /NMC.
    • SSC/HSC/Birth Certificate as proof of Date of Birth
    • Conduct and Transfer Certificate
    • Proof of the details of payment of fee
    • ID proof – Copy of Aadhar card & PAN card (Candidate and Parent)
    • Community (SC/ST/OBC) Certificate / Disability Certificate, if applicable

    In addition to the above, the candidates who have been allotted seat under NRI / NRI sponsored category, the following original documents have to be submitted at the time of reporting:

    • Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa)
    • Relationship of NRI with the candidate.
    • Affidavit from the sponsor to sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly Notarized.
    • Embassy - certificate of the sponsor ( Certificate from the Consulate)

    Note: Candidates without original certificates / documents and the details of payment of fee will not be allowed to take admission at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR).
